Spring Sprang Sprung is an enjoyable arcade game. The objective of the game is to group 3 or more colors horizontally, vertically, or in an L shape. In order to get to the next level, you must match enough pieces to get the monkey to the top of the palm tree. You lose a game if a column is full and a piece falls into it from above. The controls are simple. You move the mouse horizontally to collect the falling pieces with your catcher and then left-click to drop the pieces to the grid below to make matches. But, beware since the catcher can only hold eight pieces. You will also find special pieces that will help you clear the levels faster and easier. From time to time there are also bonus rounds in which you must clear the whole board with the pieces given to win an extra life.
Unfortunately, the game only has one game mode. However, even though the first levels seem pretty easy, the game gets more and more challenging as you progress, as the pieces will fall faster and you will have less time to arrange them.
Regarding the graphics, they are pretty simple but yet attractive. The music is nice, but repetitive.
In short, Spring Sprang Sprung is a matching game with a different gameplay that will surely attract the fans of this genre. |
